Intuit & QuickBooks Notice: Our application's use and transfer of information received from Intuit APIs will adhere to the Intuit Developer Terms of Service, including the data security and privacy requirements therein. This policy specifically governs how data obtained through QuickBooks and other Intuit products is collected, stored, used, and protected.

Introduction
NIDS — New Innovative Design Solutions ("NIDS," "we," "us," or "our") operates the application and website at mynids.com ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service, including information obtained through integrations with Intuit Inc. ("Intuit") products such as QuickBooks.
By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. If you disagree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please discontinue use of the Service.

Information We Collect
We collect several types of information in connection with the Service:
Information You Provide Directly
Account registration details (name, email address, business name)
Billing and payment information (processed securely via third-party payment providers)
Communications you send us via email, contact forms, or support channels
Any content or data you voluntarily upload or input into the Service
Data Received from Intuit / QuickBooks APIs
When you authorize our Service to connect with your QuickBooks account, we may receive and process the following data via the Intuit API, solely to provide the features of the Service you requested:
Company name, address, and contact information from your QuickBooks company profile
Financial data including invoices, expenses, accounts, customers, vendors, and transaction history
Employee and payroll information (only if payroll-related features are enabled)
Tax-related information as stored within QuickBooks
Any other data fields you explicitly grant access to via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow
"We access only the QuickBooks data that is strictly necessary to provide the specific feature(s) you have requested. We do not access QuickBooks data in excess of what is required."
Automatically Collected Information
Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visit, time spent on pages)
Device information (hardware model, operating system, unique device identifiers)
Cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience

How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
To process and complete your transactions with us
To sync, display, and process your QuickBooks/Intuit data as instructed by you within the Service
To personalize your experience and improve Service functionality
To communicate with you, including sending service notifications, security alerts, and support messages
To monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve performance and user experience
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
"We will never use your Intuit or QuickBooks data to advertise to you, and we will not allow third parties to use such data for advertising purposes."
We do not sell your personal data. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information or your Intuit API data to any third party under any circumstances.
Section 04
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We may share your information with trusted third parties only under the following circumstances:
Service Providers: Vendors and contractors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics) and are bound by confidentiality obligations
Legal Compliance: When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NIDS, our users, or others
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy
With Your Consent: In any other case with your explicit prior consent
We never share your Intuit or QuickBooks data with any third party for their own marketing or analytics purposes.
Section 05
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law.
Intuit / QuickBooks Data Retention
Data received from Intuit APIs is retained for the duration of your active account. This data is used exclusively to power your use of the Service.
Disconnection of QuickBooks Account
If you disconnect your QuickBooks company from our Service — either through the Service settings, through Intuit's Connected Apps panel, or by revoking our OAuth authorization — the following will occur:
We will immediately cease accessing your QuickBooks data from the Intuit API
Cached or stored QuickBooks data within our systems will be deleted within 30 days of disconnection
You may request immediate deletion by contacting us at legal@mynids.com
Anonymized or aggregated data derived from your data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for service improvement purposes
Upon termination of your account with NIDS, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Section 06
Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our security practices include:
TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
AES-256 encryption for data at rest
OAuth 2.0 authorization protocol for all Intuit API integrations (we never store your Intuit password)
Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Intrusion detection and monitoring systems
Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

Your Rights & Choices
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions
Portability: Request that we provide your data in a portable, machine-readable format
Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
Objection: Object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes
QuickBooks Disconnection: Revoke our access to your Intuit/QuickBooks data at any time through the Intuit Connected Apps portal at accounts.intuit.com or through our Service settings
Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from marketing communications via the link in any email we send
